Soccer Player

We're getting Luke warmed up for soccer -- he looks pretty good in his Ireland jersey.

He's also learning to water the flowers.

Luke's First Soccer Game

Today Luke got to watch our friend Jessica Heeb and her De Anza College soccer team woop up on Cabrillo. He cheered them on well and picked up on a few moves.

Giants vs. Braves: 13 innings

We were hoping Bonds would hit his 754th home run tonight on his 43rd birthday. He had 5 at bats, but unfortunately no home runs. Giants were down 4-0 in the 9th inning when we left, then of course they came back to tie it up and send the game to extra innings. We tried Caltrain for the first time to get to the game and back from Mountain View and it worked out great, very convenient. We even got home in time to watch the 13th inning.

Jason and Audrey were able to accompany us this time and Jason ate a large polish dog.

Giants vs. Padres

The Giants lost in extra innings, but at least we had good company for the Game Tuesday night. The big stat of the night was the Giants leaving 22 men on base(!) -- twice leaving the bases loaded without scoring a run. The other impressive stat was Mike eating 532 sunflower seeds.
