CPC Men's Retreat

Last weekend was our church men's retreat at Mt. Hermon (I'm in the second row from the bottom behind the guy in the red coat); we packed out the camp with 160 men. I learned, deepened friendships, and my team even won the basketball tournament... again.

Organizing the Garage

To celebrate the President's Day Holiday Natalie and I emptied out of the garage, made sure everything was in a bin, labeled the bins ("Random" was not allowed as a bin name), swept out the garage (my favorite part), and put it all back in--except for the stuff that went in my 4Runner that's going to garage sale or Goodwill. We do this every 6 months or so to make sure we're not accumulating stuff. Oh, and I'm selling a HP docking station w/ LCD monitor and a couple sweet graphics cards on Craigslist. Notice Luke's pack-n-play on the left, he helped by providing comic relief.

Wine Tasting in Livermore

Luke experienced his first winetasting today at Wente and Fenestra with his grandparents. It turned out to be a great meeting point between Mountain View and Sacramento -- we'll have to do it again!

Weekend at the Lodge

Our first time seeing the Bradley Lodge with snow! Luckily we got there on Saturday morning after the rest of the family had already shoveled 5ft of snow off the deck the day before.
We went on a couple good walks around the neighborhood -- need some chains on that stroller!Luke enjoyed hanging out with his grandma and grandpa, great grandma, and aunts and uncles.
Natalie and I decided against skiing on Saturday and relaxed on the couch all day. Luke tried out a high-chair for the first time joining us for dinner. Then he beat us at Apples to Apples.

Don't know who to vote for this Super-Tuesday?

Try this cool site: glassbooth. Answer a few quick questions and it will tell you which candidates you match up best with. Try it out, you may be surprised. Here are some of my results. This site says that I have 79% similarity with McCain and 77% similarity with Romney and Huckabee. I guess for me it doesn't matter who wins the Republican nomination. On the Democrat side it showed 35% for Clinton and 46% for Obama.

But the site doesn't stop there, it goes to the all-important next step of explaining the results with actual quotes, videos, and votes that prove where each candidate stands on the issues.
